Book Review: A Murder of Crows
A Murder of Crows A. Kirke A Murder of Crows was published on January 11th, 2018. The publisher provided me with a copy of the book, but all thoughts are my own. SYNOPSIS: A dead father. A missing Spirit. An ancient manor with way too many locked doors. Abigail Crowe is willing to accept that no amount of illegal magic will be able to bring her father back from the dead. Book Review: Blood Moon
Blood Moon: Part I (Chroma Crossing Chronicles: Book I) S. Yurvati I did not finish reading this book, for reasons I’ve elaborated on in the review below. You will find two synopsis beneath this introduction: the first is the summary I was familiar with when I accepted the review request; the second is from Goodreads, which I read later. Additionally, I have not included spoilers, but have included some of the explicit and sexual language used in the book to support my thoughts, so if necessary, proceed with caution.

If you would like to learn more about Olga Gibbs, click here. And while I prefer my book reviews to be spoiler-free, I have mentioned some minor character details in this review.

From My Bookshelf: The Lord of the Rings
For this post, I’ve chosen to feature four (rather than my typical three) books From My Bookshelf. This is because I finally got the 2012 Mariner reissue edition of The Fellowship of the Ring. I’ve had this edition of The Two Towers, The Return of the King, and The Hobbit for a few months, but when I purchased them (thank you, Sherman’s Books and Stationery) the first book in this series wasn’t available. Thanks to Independent Bookstore Day (and more so Print: A Bookstore), I found this coveted copy and it now resides on my shelf.

RC2017: The Princess Bride
The Princess Bride is filled with action, romance, murder, adventure, fantasy, and of course, William Goldman’s humor, and I’m glad I finally took it off my bookshelf to read.
