The last week of March brought me my first head cold in over three years, so I was fully ready to move into a new month. But first, a little monthly review.

If there’s one thing you can currently count on me for, it’s wrapping up my previous month of reading (despite being nearly nine days into a new month).

The first month of 2022 has flown by—was it last January that felt like it lasted a decade?—and I can hardly believe it’s already the fourth of February. This past week has been more exhausting than I expected it to be, but now that my weekend has begun (and a snow storm is howling outside my apartment windows), I’m officially ready to wrap up January.

And just like that, December (and 2021) has come to an end. My reading did pick up substantially this month after a no-books-finished-November, and once again I relied on Romance ebooks to get me through.

November was a whirlwind. Writing for National Novel Writing Month took up most of my free time, and general life stress took up the rest. Unfortunately, I barely read anything all month long.

October was a good month for reading and for indulging in autumn activities. Baking, pumpkin carving, and styling my bookshelves a dozen times took up a lot of my free time.
