From My Bookshelf
There's Something About the books From My Bookshelf. From My Bookshelf is a blog feature I write in order to share the books and titles in my personal library. Every month I revisit favorite stories, to be read novels, and forgotten gems from my bookshelf. They all have their own place in my heart, and therefore I will talk about them in multiple capacities. Sometimes I'll be sentimental, other times I'll be superficial (book covers deserve love, too); either way I hope you enjoy learning about what's on my bookshelves.

November is typically the month in which I start looking back on the books I read throughout the year, and those I didn’t get to. For the past couple of years this has also meant looking at the books on my own bookshelves that still sit unread – and this year is no exception. So this month’s From My Bookshelf post features three books that fit this criteria, and one more thing they have in common: they were all written by Lauren Willig.

From My Bookshelf: Ending, Ravens, Dark
In honor of October and the spooky portion of fall, the three books Iāve pulled From My Bookshelf this month have dark and troubling themes, and take their readers on different degrees of horrifying journeys. The two novels areĀ Iām Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid and Ravens Gathering by Graeme Cumming, plus Dark Tales, a short story collection by Shirley Jackson.

From My Bookshelf: Wonders, March, Book, Secret
I’ve talked about how many (most) of the books on my bookshelves are unread. Whether I’ve started them or have never opened them to the first page, there are many titles that call out to me to read them next, even as I bring a new book home from a bookstore or stack up my most recent library books. It can be overwhelming, sure, but…I don’t know where I was going with this, but what I do know is the four books featured in this edition of From My Bookshelf fall into that unread category.
