WWW Wednesday #18 | 03.10.2021
In the past month, I opened many books but didn’t get very far in most of them. But as of this week it seems like that slumpiness has come to an end, or is at least nearly over. Which is to say I actually have some [short but sweet] reading progress to update you on!
This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post here for others to read.
The three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
what are you currently reading?
Red Island House by Andrea Lee (eARC).
What did you recently finish reading?
Ayiti by Roxane Gay.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I have been having a hard time getting through the (2 ½ hour) audiobook of Another Brooklyn by Jacqueline Woodson, so I want to try to find a physical copy to read. And my struggle doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with this specific audiobook; I haven’t been able to stay focused on any audiobook I’ve tried lately.
Did you answer the three W’s this week? Feel free to link your WWW Wednesday post below or just share which book(s) you’ve started the month with.
Happy reading!

I hate when I get in that kind of rut, but before you know it, this will pass and you’ll devour four books in a week.

I’ve been feeling a slump coming on. I don’t know if it’s the unseasonably warmer weather we’re having but sitting and reading is not that appealing to me right now. And normally I listen to audiobooks at work, but it’s the slow season so I’m not working as much right now, so not a lot of listening going on, either. Glad your slump appears to be ending!
