Happy December, friends! And to everyone who celebrated the end of November today by laying low, going out with friends, or continuing to plug away on your work in progress – congratulations on getting to the end of National Novel Writing Month 2019!

The third week of National Novel Writing Month went by WAY too fast. And if you are following my Twitter thread, you already know I didn’t get a lot of writing done. But if you would like to read a quick summary of how I spent Week 3 of NaNoWriMo, or hear about my nearly-unrealistic optimism about reaching the goal of 50,000 words by the end of November, you’re in the right place.

We are officially halfway through National Novel Writing Month – can you believe it? I hardly can. This update is a quick one, and I’ve sort of included a “life update”, so if you’re interested in knowing how my second week of NaNoWriMo went and why it went the way it did, just keep reading.
