This month, I’ve pulled three books From My Bookshelf that have two major things in common:
- They are Book of the Month editions
- I have not read them
In addition to summarizing the books below and quickly talking about why I selected them via Book of the Month, I’m also asking for your help in deciding which one I should put on my August TBR.
The purpose of this book tag is to
horrify you with a reminder that the year is half over look back on the books that have filled the first half of your year. I don’t think any further explanation is necessary, so let’s get into it.
Halfway through the year – who else is panicking about the books you haven’t read yet? 😬 Fortunately – and I hope this is true for you too – the books I have read so far have been wonderful, including the few I read in June.
In celebration of the first month of summer, I’ve pulled three books from my bookshelf that each feature a body of water in their title: Upstream by Mary Oliver, The Lake by Banana Yoshimoto, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. Learn more about the From My Bookshelf series here on my blog, and keep reading for some of my thoughts on these three books.
