Today has completely gotten away from me. I finally found the motivation to do some laundry (shared laundry in my large apartment building makes it 10x more of a chore, especially in a pandemic) and clean up the kitchen after making soup last night…but that’s not what you are here to read. So let’s get into my latest December reading update.

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post here for others to read.

The three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

what are you currently reading?

I am physically reading The Obelisk Gate (Broken Earth #2) by N.K. Jemisin, and listening to Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie.

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished listening to Death in the Clouds by Agatha Christie just this morning. Not one of the most entertaining books, I’m afraid, but not entirely dreadful when narrated by Hugh Fraser.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Going to continue with my current reads, and hopefully pick up Shadow of Night (All Souls #2) by Deborah Harkness and The Silver Queen (Sovereign #2) by Josie Jaffrey in the next couple of days.

Did you answer the three W’s this week? How has your reading been going? Feel free to direct me to your post in a comment below.
