November Reading Preview | 2021

If you missed my Reading Goals blog post, I mentioned that I am once again abandoning “strict” monthly TBR posts—after once again learning they only make reading the selected books feel obligatory. Instead, I have been doing monthly Reading Previews, where I talk about what kinds of books I’m in the mood for, any blog tours or scheduled reviews I have coming up, mention any new books I’m anticipating, and whatever else comes to mind.

For November, I’ve chosen three specific books I want to read. I’m basically going to be preventing myself from reading too many smutty romances on Scribd, because they have taken over my life recently and I do really want to read other books, ha.

Books On My Radar

From My Shelves
  • Dragon Springs Raod by Janie Chang
  • The Nine Tailors by Dorothy Sayers
  • The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux
  • Thicker Than Water: The Quest for Solutions to the Plastic Crisis by Erica Cirino

I may also add an Agatha Christie audiobook or two to my Scribd shelves, and yes, maybe another romance…

Reading Challenges

My Classics Club TBR has been sorely neglected this year. If I do stray from any of the books above, maybe I’ll choose a title from that list.

And that does it for my November Reading Preview. If you are interested in seeing which books I do pick up throughout the month, keep an eye out for my WWW Wednesday posts, follow me on Instagram, or find me on Twitter. I would also love to know which books, reading challenges, or other bookish topics you are excited about this month – feel free to share in the comments.

Happy reading!
