Book Unhaul | September 2018
I’m back with another [very short] book unhaul. As with my previous unhauls, if you see a book you’re interested in, drop me a line and I’d be happy to send it to you (US only – get the details here). Let’s get into it.
Ponti by Sharlene Teo ☆ I love this book (I talk a little bit about why in my Wrap-Up). I’m unhauling it because I received this ARC copy in a giveaway (thank you Simon & Schuster!), and I’ll be purchasing a finished/official copy now that the book is out. It is a paperback book, and it is a tad worn because I brought it everywhere so I could read it anywhere.
The Music Shop by Rachel Joyce ☆ I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not to unhaul this, but obviously you know which side I’ve gone with. I enjoyed most of this book, and its companion playlist (on Spotify), but its pacing was a little too slow for me. The ending also felt quite disjointed from the rest of the book. If I ever feel like picking it up to reread, I’m perfectly fine doing so with a library copy. So if you are interested in reading this for the first time, or love the cover, or whatever, I’ll tell you that it is a Book of the Month hardcover edition, so it has those indications, and is in great condition.
Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake ☆ I had planned to unhaul this book last month, but like I said in August’s post, I couldn’t find it when I went to photograph it for an unhaul post (you can read my thoughts about the book in that same post if you’re interested). It’s a hardcover copy in good condition.
There you have it. If you are interested, you can read my all-inclusive September Wrap-Up here, where I talk about the books I’ve read and acquired in the month of September. Have you unhauled any books recently? Share them in the comments, and remember to contact me if you’d like to be sent any of these books (first come, first serve kind of thing).
