Book Review: Heavenward
Heavenward (Celestial Creatures Series #1) Olga Gibbs Heavenward (Book One in the Celestial Creatures Series) was published on February 20th, 2018. While I was provided a copy of the e-book, all thoughts are my own. If you would like to learn more about Olga Gibbs, click here. And while I prefer my book reviews to be spoiler-free, I have mentioned some minor character details in this review.

From My Bookshelf: The Lord of the Rings
For this post, I’ve chosen to feature four (rather than my typical three) books From My Bookshelf. This is because I finally got the 2012 Mariner reissue edition of The Fellowship of the Ring. I’ve had this edition of The Two Towers, The Return of the King, and The Hobbit for a few months, but when I purchased them (thank you, Sherman’s Books and Stationery) the first book in this series wasn’t available. Thanks to Independent Bookstore Day (and more so Print: A Bookstore), I found this coveted copy and it now resides on my shelf.

2018 Reading Challenge | April
Well the sunshine and increasingly good weather certainly deserve some credit for the things I accomplished this month, in addition to the great books and blog posts I read. Again, I did not do a book haul for this month because again, I read mostly library books and a couple of ebooks for reviews. I’ll get into why I will have a book haul for May at the end of this post, but first, I’ll talk about the books I did read. And if this is your first time here (hello!) or you would like a refresher on my 2018 Reading Challenge, you can get all the details here.

Blog Tour: The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter
Today’s stop on the blog tour for Cherry Radford’s The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter is – you guessed it – right here. Check out previous posts about this work of fiction from this very blog tour by browsing the bloggers on the poster below, and be sure to visit The Secret World of a Book Blog, another host for today. I want to thank Love Books Group for sending me the ebook copy of The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter, and as always, the thoughts I put down in this post are all my own. With that said, let’s get into it.
