WWW Wednesday #3 | 09.30.2020
It’s official: I really enjoy WWW Wednesday. I wasn’t really expecting it to be as helpful with keeping track of my reading (or making me want to stay on track with my reading) as it has, so I plan on continuing these posts. Anyway, let’s get into this week’s update.
This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post here for others to read.
The three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
what are you currently reading?
The Wolf of Oren-Yaro by K.S. Villoso, and I’m still getting on with my reread of The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. I’m also listening to Spider’s Web by Agatha Christie—and I have to admit, it’s not my favorite. I don’t like that the plot surrounds knowing who the murderer is and trying to hide the crime, but I’m going to continue with it just in case the person who admitted to the murder and how they did it is a red herring.
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished my reread of The Kingdom of Copper by S.A. Chakraborty at the end of last week.
What do you think you’ll read next?
In the chance that I finish one of my current reads, I will start A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, and one of the ebooks that is going on my October TBR (stay tuned).
Did you answer the three W’s this week? Feel free to direct me to your post in a comment below.

An Agatha Christie book where you know the bad guy at the beginning? I’m not sure I’d like it , either, but would still give it a try.

Yeah, I’m really hoping it’s a red herring. 🤞

I hope you end up enjoying A Discovery of Witches! It is one of the few books in which I liked the TV show more (so sad), but the world build is still so incredible. Happy reading 🙂

I should have mentioned – I’m rereading the All Souls Trilogy! 😊 Partly because I love the series, but also because I want to refamiliarize myself with it before watching the show (I know, I still have yet to watch it 😬). And I’m sort of glad to hear you enjoyed it more than the books; in my opinion it’s worse when an adaptation falls short!
