Halloween Creatures 2.0 Book Tag (Extension)
It’s that time of year again – Anthony at Keep Reading Forward announced the Halloween Creatures 2.0 Book Tag Extension back on October 1st, which is great for past participants and new participants alike! Check out the post for all the details, and keep reading for my responses.
Rules:
- This extension can be completed with both 1.0 & 2.0 versions of the tag.
- This extension can also be completed on its own.
- Answer all prompts.
- Answer honestly.
- Tag 1-13 people.
- Link back to this post.
- Remember to credit the creator. (Anthony @ Keep Reading Forward)
- Have fun!
I’m still pretty satisfied with most of my answers for the 2.0 version I did last year, so I will just be filling out the extension. Here we go:
Troll
An Underrated Book That Many May Not Know About
The Lake by Banana Yoshimoto. I read this [English translation] back in July, and was completely captivated by it.
Fairy
A Character Who is Mischievous
Flagg the magician in The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King. He’s certainly on the evil side of mischievous, but mischievous nonetheless.
Will-O-The-Wisp
A Book With an Unexpected Twist
The Cold Cold Sea by Linda Huber threw me for quite a loop.
Wraith
A Book or Character That Left You With Rage
The Wallaces in Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor. Technically they are more than one character, but they are more frequently grouped together than identified separately.
Creepy Clowns
A Book That Gave You Temporary or Permanent Fears
Coraline by Neil Gaiman. The Mother in this story still frightens me – and yet Neil Gaiman’s writing has me going back into that world time and time again.
I’m specifically tagging Zezee with Books, Jules_Writes, and The Paperback Piano – but if you are reading this, consider yourself tagged too! 👻

Thank you for tagging me – I will have a look at the original post. I need more book tags in my life, I love reading them I just never seem to do them – I must change that.
I loved your answers 🙂
