NaNoWriMo 2018 | Week 2 Update
November is now over halfway done, thus, we reached the halfway point for NaNoWriMo this past week. I am currently a bit behind on my word count, but after I’m done with this post I’m going to get some more writing in before the day is done; in other words, I have the time to catch up.

NaNoWriMo 2018 | Week 1 Update
Well the first week (plus a couple of days) of National Novel Writing Month has come and gone. I don’t think an update post really warrants a long introduction (the point is in the title, after all), so let’s get into my progress, hurdles, and learning curves of the past ten days.

There’s Something About Writing 50,000 Words in 30 Days For the first time since I started [halfheartedly] participating in National Novel Writing Month (four or five years or so), I have a solid story idea that I am very excited about. I have been working on a prologue, outline, characters, and world building here and there for a couple of months, and have had NaNoWriMo in the back of my mind as the perfect point to really dive in.
