I haven’t been this excited for a WWW Wednesday in quite some time. The past week – well, weekend really – has been great for my reading log.

What are you currently reading?

Okay, if you have been keeping up with these ‘weekly’ updates you know I’ve been reading The Obelisk Gate by N.K. Jemisin for way too long. But I’m happy to report I’m in the final hundred pages and expect to finish by the end of the upcoming weekend.

What did you recently finish reading?

I have been dipping my toes into Romance and Romantic Erotica fiction, and, thanks to a couple of books in this category that fall under 200 pages, am enjoying how I fly through the pages. Naima Simone’s Lick trilogy contain the three of my most recent reads, plus Cabin Fever by Alisha Rai and Sweet to the Taste by Alyssa Cole (all are on Scribd if you want to check them out for yourself).

What do you think you’ll read next?

I currently feel like I need a bit of a break from the Romance genre, but for the first time in months I’m really excited to sit down to read [anything]. My goal to carve out time in my daily schedule to read is being fulfilled so far; hopefully next week’s WWW Wednesday post will be just as fruitful as this one.
