Playlist | Sunday Morning Thoughts
For the past few weeks I’ve been putting together a Sunday music playlist. I scroll through Spotify and listen to possible additions for about an hour and save the songs that I think fit the pensive, sometimes moody, and comfortable sensations that follow a Sunday morning sunrise.
There is only one thing I specifically look for when searching for songs for this playlist, which is that the word Sunday has to be in the title. Do you know how many songs out there [on Spotify] have Sunday in the title? I think I may be adding songs for years (which is sort of the idea).
So far I’ve enjoyed putting together a playlist in which every piece of music has this very general thing in common; some of the songs are similar in their style, rhythm, and production, but many are not. And while I don’t consider myself to be an expert at curating music playlists, I want to share my Sunday playlist in case you too need a soundtrack to your contemplative or meditative Sunday morning. I will be continuing to add songs to it, but at the time of this writing there is about 55 minutes worth of music – of many kinds – on it. I recommend hitting “shuffle” while enjoying your morning beverage of choice and whatever activity(ies) you save for this small window of time. For those of you who do not use Spotify, I’ve listed the songs below so you can look them up on whatever or wherever you listen to music.
Have a happy Sunday. 💙

Oooh! I love this!! I need to branch out more with my music. I’ve been very into metal and screams recently since it (oddly) calms me down! lol

Haha whatever works! 😛 And I have a couple of playlists that I’ve curated just by using a word or day of the week – the genres vary but I’ve discovered quite a few new-to-me favorite songs and artists.
