February TBR | 2020 Reading Challenge
Well hello, February. I’m glad you are one day longer this year, because with the way my reading went in January, I’m going to need all the extra time to catch up with my TBR that I can get.
Here is what I will be reading this month:
- The Girl Who Smiled Beads by Clemantine Wamariya
- What It Means When A Man Falls From the Sky by Lesley Nneka Arimah
- And nearly every book from my January TBR…
Yes, I only finished one book in January – The Mermaid and Mrs. Hancock by Imogen Hermes Gowar. I’m currently more than halfway through Dracula and The Fall of Gondolin, but have made little progress in the other books. Therefore, I chose one of my thinner Book of the Month books to read in February, as well as a book of short stories to help get me off this slumpy track.
As I said in my 2020 Reading Challenge introductory post, I will dedicate a blog post to each of these books as I finish them, so keep an eye out here on the blog, or for an announcement on Twitter and Instagram.
What are you currently reading, or plan to read during the month of February? What do you think of my TBR? Have you already finished any books? Let’s chat below. ✨

I’m really loving it! I’m a little anxious about how it’s going to come to an end, but it’s been a really fun and surprisingly profound story. I will say that there’s a chunk of the book after the exciting beginning that felt like a slog, but it’s important for setting up the other characters so it’s worth getting through! 🙂
