The Narnia Book Tag

I came across this Book Tag [as I was searching for Book Tags] on Bookishly Rebecca, and since I love The Chronicles of Narnia – well, here we are. Make sure you check out Rebecca’s post here, and comment below if you have done or will do the tag yourself!

Narnia: A Magical World You Would Like To Visit

I mean, Narnia, but also Daevabad from The City of Brass.

The Magician’s Nephew: A Book You Think is Underrated

Well since I would usually say The Magician’s Nephew, for the sake of a more exciting tag I’ll go with Swimming Lessons by Claire Fuller.

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe: A Classic That You Love

Oh, so many. I’m going to pick two ~*beCaUSe i CAn*~ and say And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

The Horse and His Boy: A Book You Picked Up Without Knowing What it Was About

I just picked this book up this week from the library: Vicious by V.E. Schwab. I’ve followed V.E. Schwab forever on Twitter and have admired the covers of her Shades of Magic series, but have pretty much avoided spoilers/summaries of all her books. For some reason this week I’ve felt like I needed to get into her books, and since none of the Shades of Magic series were immediately available at my library, I chose Vicious – and even after taking it home I still don’t know what it’s about.

TL;DR
Vicious by V.E. Schwab

Prince Caspian: A Sequel That You Love

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness. This is the second in her All Souls Trilogy and I love it so so so so much.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader: A Quest You’d Like To Be A Part Of

Hanna Heath’s in People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks.

The Silver Chair: A Book You Didn’t Expect to Love

I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid. I am ob-sessed with this book. Going into it I thought I would enjoy it, but I really wasn’t prepared for how insanely delicious I was going to find it by the end. UGH I’m getting the feels all over again.

The Last Battle: A Perfect End To A Series You Love

Am I not supposed to mention The Chronicles of Narnia here? If not, I’m breaking the rules and answering The Chronicles of Narnia.

The Pevensies: A Siblinghood or Friendship You’d Love To Be A Part Of

Uh, Hermione, Harry, and Ron, obviously.

Eustace Scrubb: A Character Who Grew On You

Franny Owens from The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman.

Tumnus: Your Favorite Mythical Creature

Currently/for the past few months: PORGS!

Caspian: A Character With Regal Qualities

Greek Goddess Circe.

Reepicheep: A Loyal Character

Hermione Granger.
