2019 might be over, but I’m still hanging on to it for the month of January. If you read my December Wrap-Up, you might remember that I had a few books in “Currently Reading” status – in fact I have been “Currently Reading” them since about October. Well, I will be using all the motivation and optimism instilled in me by the New Year to finish those books. Plus, three more that fall under my Special Edition goal (which I explain in this post).
Here is what I will be reading this month:

- The Fall of Gondolin by J.R.R Tolkien (Edited by Christopher Tolkien)
- Not from 2019, but the first book I started reading in 2020 (currently on page 48/264)
- Dracula by Bram Stoker (currently on page 128/402)
- Penguin Classics Criteria
- Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
- Barnes & Noble Classics Criteria
- Not from 2019
- The Mermaid and Mrs. Hancock by Imogen Hermes Gowar (currently on page 332/484)
- Book of the Month Criteria
As I said in my 2020 Reading Challenge introductory post, I will dedicate a blog post to each of these books as I finish them, so keep an eye out here on the blog, or for an announcement on Twitter and Instagram.
