August Wrap-Up 2022

The past two months have been quite a whirlwind, although the lack of attention I’ve given my blog (and reading) has developed into a consistent trend this year overall. Who knows what October will bring? But wait, I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s quickly look back at August.

The end of August brought the ‘vid-19 with it. For me, it showed up like the most severe flu I have ever had (and hopefully will never have again). For three days I had just enough strength to refill my water bottle and swallow some medicine; thankfully I felt less fatigued on day four, and days five and six had me feeling just slightly tired but very congested. I experienced some lingering congestion for about a week after, but as far as I know there haven’t been any long-term effects.

Despite finishing the month on a low, everything that preceded the end was great. I helped host my sister’s bachelorette weekend, and finished up preparations for her wedding. It was also a beautiful month for trips up to camp, where I got to do almost nothing on the beach with my significant other and admire how much my flowers had grown over the summer.

Books Read

None, although I did advance slightly in a couple of the books listed below…

Books I Did Not Finish

Most notable / books I spent the most time with (an exact copy of July’s books):

Blog Posts

Miscellany

There’s nothing more to say than what I did in the intro of this post – particularly because August seems so long ago at this point…

As always, I’d love to hear about what you’ve been reading (including any blog posts you’ve enjoyed), and would love to know how the transition into fall has treated you. Let’s chat in the comments.
