I’ve never taken part in a reading challenge, mainly because my reading tends to be a bit eratic. If I start a good book, I can have it finished within a couple of days, but then I get distracted with work and other things and might not pick up another book for a couple of weeks.

I like to log the books that I’ve read and reflect on them. This year I’d like to get more involved with the online book club that I joined last year because it’s good to be able to discuss the books with others in the club.

I’ve definitely learned over the past few years that balancing structure and freedom with my reading challenge is important to me, and that reading challenge success is best measured by developing reading habits that best fit your life.

I’ll be logging my books in a notebook for the first time this year – I’m glad it’s a strategy you enjoy! And book discussions are so invaluable, it’s great you have a space to take part in them (I’m part of an online book club too, I love it!). Happy reading! 😊
