From My Bookshelf
Have you read all of the books you own? Are your shelves brimming with your favorite authors?
Do you collect various editions of various novels that very well could have their own bookcases? Which books do you feel you need to reread, or feel you need to finally read? I’m assuming that because you have found yourself here on my blog, and on this particular page of my blog, that you have similar answers to the above questions that I do, and/or you are looking for what to read next, and/or you are nosy and want to know what books other people have on their bookshelf (and on the floors, on tables, and miscellaneous locations). Well, you have come to the right place, and if you enjoy seeing what is on my shelves, I hope you tell me a little about what is on yours, because I’m nosy too.
Below I’ve started a list of titles from my bookshelf. Each month I’ll choose about three books to feature and talk about whatever strikes me at the moment I choose them (my relationship with them, an author’s birthday, a bookish theme, etc.). I’ll always link up the posts on this page so they’re easy to find.

I have twelve books in my bookcase to get to and twelve on my tablet with three read and awaiting reviews. I read Not Thomas by Sarah Gethin and reviewed it on my blog, i revisited it twice because it is extraordinary, but I am not ready to let go of him just yet. A nice blog you have lady.

I have SO many that I haven’t read yet. I think I have that mania which I can’t remember the name of, but it’s where you can’t atop buying books. And on that note, Amazon has literally just posted a new book through my door!

So many here – just bought a used copy from amazon of The Farm at the Edge of the World by Sarah Vaughn as I reading her Anatomy of a Scandal. I love books, hate getting rid of them and am banned from book shops (particularly second hand) by my hubby!!!

I downsized hundreds of read and unread books from my bookshelves. And now I find that I have hundreds on my Kindle. I usually go for mystery and suspense. I like a lot of the new and fun cozy’s that are out there. There are still some books that I get that I want to actually hold in my hand. Right now I’m reading a paperback and a Kindle book. Depends on my location which book gets read.

I’ve been finding it way too easy (ha) to download Kindle ebooks – I’m still sort of new to the ebook world so this is a more recently developed habit. Lately I’ve been very into mystery and suspense – do you have any recommendations? 🙂

I’m glad you found my comment! Now stop me if I go too far, because I read A LOT of mysteries. And you should always start with Anne Perry. She has two series the Pitt series and the Monk series. Both great. For contemporary find Carolyn Hart and her Death on Demand series. And for a little mystery/suspense go with Elizabeth Peters and her Amelia Peabody series. She also writes as Barbara Michaels. As for current cozies that are mostly Kindle books I liked The Flower Shop Mystery Series by Annie Adams and Trouble in Mudbug by Jana Deleon was a fun romp. I’ll stop for now. I hope somewhere in there you find something that you haven’t already read before.
