There’s Something About A New Year✨

Goodbye 2021, hello 2022.

A Brief Look Back

In past years, I’ve featured some stats and analytics pertaining to followers, views, comments, etc. In 2021, I paid nearly no attention to any of those of things. I don’t really have a reason for this, other than the fact I struggled enough to write blog posts, let alone worry about how my blog was performing. Seeing the comments and likes on individual posts was satisfying enough for me.

A lot of my energy was also spent on bookstagram, though even that dwindled as the end of 2021 grew nearer. There was just something about the latter quarter of the year that really wiped me out; I know I’m not alone in experiencing this.

For those of you who started following There’s Something About KM in 2021, I hope you enjoyed what content I did publish, and for those of you who have been here for longer and much longer, thank you for being here when I was able to show up. I hesitate to promise anything big or consistent for 2022, but at the moment, I am consumed by new year optimism and revitalization.

Now, What’s In Store for There’s Something About KM In 2022?

At this point I sound like a broken record, but planning and organization are at the top of my priority list for keeping myself on a more consistent blogging track. I want to post way more reviews, get back into my Reading Grimm’s Complete Fairy Tales series, and overall be a resource for other readers and book lovers. These are general goals, but ‘general’ is what works best for me at the moment.

And for now, that is all for my 2021 Review and 2022 Blogging Goals. Have you set any goals or made any new year resolutions – blogging, reading, personal? Feel free to share them in a comment below.

And once again, thank you hundreds of times over for being here. I’m thankful to be going into a new year with you; I hope you have a fruitful January, and wish you the very best in 2022. 🎉
