At What Point

At what point does it stop hurting? Stop drawing in the nausea and knotting up your stomach? Stop making you want to cry?
At what point does it stop hurting? Stop the memories from clobbering you like you’re stuck in a washing machine with cement blocks? Stop reminding you like a bad cough reminds you of a cold?
At what point does it stop hurting, and at what point do you start healing?
At what point do you start healing? Start feeling confident in yourself? Start moving on?
At what point do you start healing? Start forgetting chunks of your life to pull yourself together and then being able to look back on them without falling apart?
At what point does it stop hurting; at what point do you start healing; at what point do you stop waiting for the point to come? Can the point be chased after? Grabbed? Wrestled?
What is the point.

I can’t say when, but I know we can get over it. I recently moved on from a relationship I formerly thought I couldn’t live without. I had cried, begged, pleaded…then I prayed and God helped me get over it. I still healing, but when I think of him now i no longer cry, I’m even beginning to wonder why I used to cry about it.
